About Us

Following on from the set up of their first greeting card company in 1994, The Leaping Snail Press, wife and husband team, Gini and Paul Bhatia founded Magi Design in 2005, a successful bespoke design company based in London, UK. After making a life changing decision to emigrate to Canada in 2013, they established a new home for themselves and Magi Design in Toronto. As of 2024, the business has become a complete family affair with their two sons, Aaran and Ash joining the team, along with their adorable puppy, Molly!

They have a dedicated team of in-house designers who know how important it is to keep up with current trends.  These skilful designers are able to take a concept and bring it to life in the form of beautiful card collections and stationery for everyday use.

In this ever-digital age, they celebrate the beauty of sending a card as a way of connecting with loved ones and friends on a personal level. Their signature card boxes which contain wonderfully designed, high quality cards for all occasions are the perfect one-stop-shop to help make that connection!

Magi Design product lines include, Birthday card boxes, All Occasion card boxes, Thank You box sets and fantastically quirky Kids collections which go down a treat with little people. 

From demonstrating a strong presence in the display market, Magi Design broadened their variety of products by launching stunning stationery ranges. Throughout these contemporary collections you will find journals, bookmarks, desk storage and notebooks to name a few.

Their team travel to the Far East in search of innovative components and current technology to bring to their products.  

Magi Design works with factories that are FSC certified on selected products and support the use of materials from sustainable resources. 

Their strength lies in developing bespoke products with local and international clients for their specific requirements and market trends, working closely with the buyers in order to develop the perfect collection of cards for their customers.
